THE JOURNEY
A healthy mind is the essence to living a happy life.
Many of us build our lives around external factors hoping that one day these things will bring us abundance and joy, but quite often it delivers the complete opposite.
My journey before becoming a Life Coach was like many others in the modern world today, I was living life in the fast lane or what I often call the never ending rat race. I was always searching for something that I later discovered didn’t exist. After years spent on the hamster wheel chasing my career as a Radio DJ, all I ever found was temporary fulfilment mixed with chaos and rowdy entertainment, there was never any real happiness or peace.

I had spent many years of my early years feeling detached from my surroundings yet never really understood why, it was like I was always watching my life from the outside looking in. I was forever on a quest in search of peace and happiness but looking for it in all the wrong places thinking I would find it in people, status and material things. I was always amongst people who were always running yet never arriving, just endlessly chasing going round and round.
I soon reached an ultimate point of burnout, I was left completely exhausted and tired of doing the same thing, I knew something had to change and it had to start with me and my choices. I knew if I didn’t change my life would only continue to have the same result. Through the survival of traumatic events from child sexual abuse, toxic relationships and a house fire that left me homeless, these life experiences soon become the true making of me. I was able to get still and in tune with my internal self which enabled me to detach from external distractions, it was here I would find peace and clarity from within as I was no longer engaging with external chaos.
We are often perfect the way we are however in a world full of so much noise and distractions where we get pulled into, pain and suffering becomes the result of this. When we are able to listen to our inner self we begin to find a clear sense of clarity and start excepting things for what they really are. If we want to be happy and have a peaceful mind we have to invest in ourselves internally, when we neglect ourself this starts to have a huge effect on our physical body and mental wellbeing. We are all energy workers and the common problem we face with our health is we seek help from a medical profession who often only treats our symptoms, and the root cause is hardly ever addressed.
In our modern day society there is an endless need and demand in our jobs and personal lives, many people never really switch off from this constant cycle, this creates a build up of tension, and very often it is brought on from a subconscious state of stress usually due to some sort of trauma. In order to avoid this from occurring we have to unwind and clear the mind, or in ‘’Buddhism’’ shower the mind, think about it! We will clean our home, our physical body but how often do we clean our mind? and to do this we have to focus on doing inner work and not external distraction.
Spiritually life is not an easy life, when we do the inner work it can become a very painful process, not only do we battle loosing old parts of who we thought we were but we also lose and detach from the things and people around us, our external world often gets even more challenging due to our inner growth because we start to see with clarity, once we see something clearly, it cannot be unseen.
As a Life Coach and Novice Monk who is set for full ordination in May 2026, it is my duty to help those who are trying to navigate through their spiritual growth, my role isn’t to fix, but to assist others on their self healing journey by giving the tools necessary to guide through the obstacles that they are facing. Here at my sacred sanctuary is a safe space where people can work to find their inner peace and restore life balance.

No matter what situation you might be going through, just know and remember this experience is not a life sentence but a life lesson for your own spiritual growth and development.
May you be happy and at peace, and know I am here for those who are in need for direction and spiritual guidance.

Love & Light,
